Determining Route Specific Unbundling Requirements

 

In order to determine whether unbundled dedicated transport is available on a specific route, you must identify the tier levels for the end points of the desired route (the A and Z locations).  A listing of wire centers and associated tier levels is provided below.  Once the tier levels for the A and Z location have been identified, the following charts may be used to determine if unbundling is available on the desired route. Requests for Unbundled Dedicated Transports (DS1s or DS3s) to AT&T unimpaired wire centers will error back to the CLECs for “Product not eligible at route, request invalid”.

 

Determining Impairment for DS1 Interoffice TransportRoutes

 

DS1 level dedicated interoffice transport is available on an unbundled basis unless both of the end points of the requested route are Tier 1 wire centers (subject to volume cap).
